Duties:
- Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive. If also acting as a hostess, coordinate the seating of guests, managing a waitlist
if necessary, and providing guests with menus.
- Order Taking: Take customers’ food and drink orders ensuring accuracy. Answer questions regarding the menu, including ingredients, preparation
methods, and beverage pairings. Offer daily specials or event-themed menu items.
- Serving: Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that customers are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Refill beverages and check in throughout the visit to address any additional needs.
- Payment Processing: Prepare and provide bills upon request or after meal completion. Process payments through cash, credit card, or mobile payment, ensuring accuracy and security. Return receipts and change to customers.
- Customer Interaction: Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information. Greet customers when entering or leaving the bar.
- Customer Management: Manage the flow of guests, provide accurate wait times, and escort customers to their tables. Organize the seating arrangement conducive to the space and customer preferences.
- Reservation Coordination: Take reservations over the phone or in person, ensuring a well-organized schedule. Adjust seating as needed to accommodate large groups or special requests.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clear tables promptly after guests leave. Clean and reset tables for the next guests. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, and storage areas. Ensure the bar area, including tables and seating arrangements, are kept clean and organized.
- Compliance: Check identification of patrons to ensure they meet the age requirement for the purchase of alcohol. Stay informed about the local regulations regarding alcohol service and food handling.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Experience using TOAST or similar point-of-sale systems
