Basic knowledge of equipment used in quarry operations or heavy construction, with 2 years mining experience or heavy construction operating experience on an end loader. Ability to comprehend and apply training for other equipment that may be used for your operation. Basic knowledge and understanding of limestone quarry operations preferred. Maintain a current Wisconsin driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record. Capable of working in confined spaces. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to speak, read and write English and communicate effectively. Welding and cutting experience helpful. Mechanical background abilities helpful.
Must be able to perform all required safety checks and follow all safety rules and regulations. Perform a pre-shift inspection on equipment. Fill out required documentation and submit on time. Operate medium to large production end loader within the quarry for production of limestone. Follow company policies and procedures as trained, instructed and communicated through all formats by management or your supervisor/lead person. Maintain equipment operated in a clean and safe manner. Report all safety and operational concerns. Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor/lead person. This may include shoveling, or other housekeeping or maintenance activities when directed. Be available for weekend and/or "after hours" work as business needs dictate.
