Position Overview

Island Lavender / Wilder Farms is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and positive Farm & Agritourism Experience Associate to support daily operations in our lavender fields and agritourism areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes, and loves being part of a guest-focused farm experience.

This position plays a key role in keeping our farm looking its best while helping create a welcoming and memorable environment for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, weeding, pruning, harvesting, and general lavender field care

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of farm paths, gardens, and public areas

• Support seasonal harvest and product preparation tasks

• Help set up and break down agritourism areas, events, or seasonal displays

• Provide friendly assistance and basic farm guidance to guests when needed

• Support general farm upkeep (watering, mulching, light landscaping, etc.)

• Operate basic hand tools and farm equipment (training provided)

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Work as part of a team to keep farm operations running smoothly during peak season

Qualifications & Requirements

• Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather (heat, sun, wind, light rain)

• Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the day

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions consistently

• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative

• Ability to work weekends and peak tourism times (summer/fall)

• Comfortable working around guests and representing the Island Lavender brand

• Landscaping, gardening, farm work, or outdoor labor experience is a plus (but not required)

• Must be able to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license is a plus
