Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking line cook to join our company. Our line cooks will be responsible for prepping and cooking of all food; ensuring the ingredients are fresh, that work areas are clean. You will need to be detail-oriented, and able to thrive in the face-paced environment of our kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chefs instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of any leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Task driven individual
  • Familiar with Industry’s best practices
  • Reliable references
  • Must be flexible with scheduling
