Social Media Director
This position would coordinate our messaging calendar for all digital media including, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, video production for under 1:00 minute segments, and assist with website and streaming updates, including graphic design and photography. We are looking for a person to help develop content, and can integrate with our marketing and sales department to bring ideas to clients. He/She would also participate in creating station promotions and represent the stations at certain events/outings. Additional tasks include developing creative and ad copy, creating promotions and possible production and voice work. This role has the opportunity to grow into the directory of non-traditional revenue for the radio groups digital offerings. (The position requires general maintenance and cleaning of the office area as well as other minor duties as assigned.)
Applicants should be highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communications a must. A four year degree in communications, marketing, design, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Proficient in microsoft office applications required. Additional experience in Adobe suite applications or previous broadcast experience moves you to the top of the list. Must have a valid driver's license, integrity, a high standard of ethics, outstanding interpersonal skills, and comfortable with keeping your flip-flops in the car....it's Door County Casual.
