Position Overview:
June’s is a new coffee shop and wine bar opening on the same property as Peach Barn Brewing in Sister Bay, WI looking for friendly, upbeat baristas. As a barista you will make everything from lattes to cafe style food. This job is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee, can multitask well, and enjoy customer service work.
Pay: base $12/hr. plus tips. Wage negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a kind and inviting customer experience
- Prepare a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring high quality drinks
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and and safe space for coworkers and customers alike
- Take customer orders, handle cash, and process payments using a POS system
- Assist in restocking, taking inventory, and cleaning as needed
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in the service industry is preferred, but not required
- Friendly approach to customer service
- Strong communication and multitasking skills while working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to operate a POS system
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
