Glacier Ledge is a 2 year old restaurant that has become a favorite destination. We welcome our guests to slow down and enjoy lively conversation with family and friends.  Chef Lawrence creates shareable plates prepared fresh to arrive at your table as they are ready. Good food shouldn’t be rushed.  Relax, taste, savor and enjoy with a glass of wine or locally brewed beer in the restaurant or our new lounge area. Guests have the option to dine outside on the patio or enjoy the comfort of the hearth inside.

We are looking for a strong leader who is willing to work side by side with staff. Chef Lawrence is very passionate out his job and needs a manager who shares his passion for serving the best food and ensuring the best service as we grow our business.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant and bar, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.

  • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: Personnel management, sanitation, security, record keeping, preparation of reports, company policies and procedures.
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred but not required.
  • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
  • Pleasant, polite manner and a neat clean appearance.
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
  • Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor costs while maintain required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • This is a year round position but hours will vary due to seasonality of the business.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
  • Work with hot, cold and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Wages based on experience.
