 Job Description

ExacTech Inc. is looking to add a CNC Machinist to our 1st and 2nd shift teams. As part of our machining team, you will be respondible for programing and operating an HNK horizontal boring machine. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members. Previous CNC machine knowledge/experience is required for this career path.

1^st shift: Monday-Thursday: 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday: 6:45AM-10:45AM

2^nd shift: Monday-Thursday: 3:30PM-2:00AM

 Job Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate the HNK CNC machine for milling, cutting, and drilling sheet metal
• Lay out and use trammels, dividers, protractors, compass, squares, and punches for accurate set up and programming
• Use blueprints to plan the process of pre-machining, sub weldments, and main weldments
• Use overhead cranes and jib cranes to move steel parts into position on the machine
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

 Job Qualifications

• Technical degree in CNC operation or relevant experience is preferred
• The understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is desired
• Experience reading Blueprints and drawings is preferred but can be taught
• Experience using a tape measure and the ability to convert measurements into decimals is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
