We are seeking to add a Mechanical Designer to our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Our Designers work closely with our Lead Designers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment lay-outs and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
  • Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
  • Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
  • Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Solidworks and AutoCAD required
  • Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
  • Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
  • Technical degree preferred
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
