Seaquist Orchards Canning Kitchen is looking to hire a warehouse/delivery assistant. Our canning kitchen is mostly automated, with a full filling line that operates filling 3-8,000 jars per day depending on the time of year and products. It's a fast paced, but fun working environment! We also have a large wholesale business within Door County and outside, which involves shipping orders and also preparing and deliverying orders. This position is a full time, year-round job. We do have potential housing. We are hoping this postion will begin in December.
Core Responsibilities:
-Assisting in end of line production, being boxing of finished product and palletizing finished product (more of this in the winter than summer)
-Being familiar with warehouse organization and being able to move product where it's needed to go
-Assisting in pulling delivery and shipping orders (more of this in summer than winter)
-Assisting on the Door County weekly delivery route in the summer months
-Receiving freight, and assisting in warehouse and freezer organization
Required qualification:
-Being able to stand all day, lift 50+lb through-out the day, and can bend, squat, lift, and dance
-Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced working environment
-Someone who is a quick learner, works well in a team, a go-getter, good attitude and great work ethic
-Being able to drive a pallet jack, electric pallet jack and fork lift. (all of these will be taught if needed, bonus if you already know!)

-Has experience working in a restaurant kitchen, production kitchen or warehouse
-Mechanical
Schedule:
M-Th 7am-3pm and F 7am-12pm (depending on the week) (Never weekends!)
