Waterfront Restaurant is focused on exceeding our guests' expectations with beautiful food, a stunning location and most importantly, personable service. We are a contemporary, upscale restaurant located on the water in beautiful Sister Bay. We are currently looking for a high energy, hard working and experienced Server to join our team for the 2024 season.
The Server's primary job is to anticipate and respond to our guests' dining needs in a gracious, accommodating, and professional manner. Our attention to detail and thoughtful service is what sets us apart.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for selling and serving food & beverages using knowledge, hospitality and service skills
- Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent knowledge of food & alcoholic beverage selections
- Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure quality service
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:
A qualified applicant is a true “people person” who is calm under pressure, loves hospitality, and knows how to multi-task while remaining efficient.
- Previous experience as a server in an upscale dining room & bar
- POS system experience
- Must have excellent knowledge of fine dining service procedures and functions
- Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Passion for food, wine and hospitality!
Must be able to work nights and weekends. Priority will be given to candidates who can stay through the end of October.
