The Hide Side Boutique is looking for Sales Associates for the summer 2023 season!
The Hide Side Boutique is a family-run specialty ladies' store. The store features exciting and exquisite women's fashions ranging from special occasion dresses & contemporary outfits to handcrafted apparel, jewelry, shoes, and more. Featured brands include Tribal, Michael Tyler, Jess & Jane, Papillon, and more.
Responsibilities:
· Friendly customer service and taking pride in one’s performance.
· Familiarity with merchandise and participation in ongoing store organization, cleaning, and displays.
· Assist with unpacking shipments, pricing merchandise, and preparing items for display.
· Being part of a sales team, including communication, appearance, reliability, punctuality, and avoiding using time at work for personal needs (texting, computer use, etc.)
Desired qualifications:
· (Preferred) prior experience in sales, retail business, or fashion/design
Wages + benefits:
· Hourly wages are competitive and paid bi-weekly.
· Hourly employees are included in an IRA plan after 1 year of employment
· Training opportunities will be available to understand retail sales skills
Role type:
· Internships, Part-time, or full-time seasonal positions offered, including both weekday and/or weekend work, available May-October. Part-time hours available during off-season (Nov-April). No evenings are required.
Store Hours:
· May - Oct: Daily, 10 AM - 5 PM
· Nov - Apr: Limited Hours - Weekends Only
