Role Overview
As a Farm & Agritourism Experience Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty of our lavender fields, welcoming guests, and ensuring an unforgettable farm experience. This is a hands-on position that blends farm work with hospitality, ideal for someone who loves nature, enjoys engaging with people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Farm Maintenance & Landscaping
- Assist with planting, weeding, pruning, and general care of our lavender fields and gardens
- Help maintain the beauty of the farm through landscaping and upkeep
- Support general property maintenance to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment
Retail & Farm Store Assistance
- Work in the farm store, helping guests find lavender products and sharing knowledge about their uses
- Process sales transactions and restock inventory
- Provide excellent customer service to create a warm and inviting shopping experience
Guest Experience & Agritourism
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they feel at home on the farm
- Educate guests about lavender, the farm’s story, and the products we create
- Assist with farm tours, workshops, and special events
- Support interactive experiences that make the farm visit memorable
Who You Are
- Passionate about nature, agriculture, and hospitality
- Friendly, engaging, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Reliable and hardworking, with a strong work ethic
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in farming, retail, or hospitality is a plus but not required
