Cheese & Specialty Food Retail Specialists – Now Hiring for 2022 Season
Door Artisan Cheese Company, a unique culinary destination located in beautiful Door County, WI, is looking for candidates to fill cheese and specialty food retail positions, both seasonal full and part time.
DACC is an artisan cheese plant featuring Cheesemakers crafting original artisan cheeses made from milk from local small family farms. We are also a specialty food market featuring our own artisan cheeses, local and imported cheese, cured meats, specialty foods, and a premium wine and local craft beer tasting bar. We also have an exceptional casual fine dining restaurant, Glacier Ledge.
We are looking for customer service specialists who are passionate about cheese giving customers an experience to remember in an enthusiastic food-loving environment.
Duties may include:
Checking out customers. Engaging customers by sharing the story of Door Artisan Cheese, the cheese making process, the unique cheeses we make and why our cheeses are so special. Helping customers select wine, cheese and charcuterie, sandwich making, creating cheese boards and giving tours of our aging caves.
Experience in cheese, specialty food or wine a big plus. Social media experience is a plus. Passion and dedication a must. Expect weekend and holiday hours to learn and grow with us. starting at $15 per hour.
