The Re-Sale Store Associate works closely with the Re-Sale Store Lead. This position is the "face: of Sunshine Resources greeting customers at our store. This position will assist with inventory control and pricing merchandise with the assistance of volunteers and clients. Time management, communication, organizational skills, an eye for quality merchandise and the ability to work with people of all ages and abilities is required. This position will also be trained to fill-in at the Donation Center as needed.

  • At least 3-6 months experience in a retail setting or sales.
  • Some experience supervising other employees/volunteers, working with people with disabilities or customer service preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Must have some ability to use cash register, internet, and digital camera.
  • Sort items daily to determine quality of donations with a crew of volunteers and/or staff, determine items that are deemed re-sell-able and the manner in which it can best be resold to achieve the best return for goods to support the organization’s programs and services.
  • Assist to coordinate transfer of inventory between the Sunshine Resources location and Re-Sale store.
  • Provide excellent customer service, build relationships with potential customers, volunteers, clients, and the community. Respond to customer/volunteer needs promptly and professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week, including Saturday rotation
