Welder/Fitter

Pier & Waterfront Solutions is the answer to all waterfront needs. We service private properties, business establishments, and local municipalities all over Northeast Wisconsin. We provide sales, service and repairs for piers and boat lifts along with waterfront restoration and redesign.

We design and manufacture our own steel piers, in house, right here in Sturgeon Bay. Our pier’s are not only made to withstand all that mother nature can send us but are also as beautiful as the properties we put them on. Each pier is custom made by master craftsmen like you!

Responsibilities: including but not limited to

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material, and equipment needed.
• Cutting, shaping & general metal work
• Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used.
• Tend compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment to work with or move materials.

Requirements, Experience and Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation
• MIG welding experience is required (technical degree without experience, acceptable)
• Must be able to lift 50lb
• Forklift operation experience is a plus
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus
