CDL Driver/Shop Help/General Labor

At Door County Cooperative, you will be part of a team supporting our local farm community. Your daily responsibilities will include general shop maintenance, delivery of seed and fertilizer, skid steer operation, and spreading fertilizer with potential for spraying crops. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, have a positive work ethic, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised
• Must hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with the opportunity to secure a CDL
• Potential to obtain pesticide applicator training license (PAT)
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. Be able to pull, push, stand, and walk without assistance
• Ability to operate vehicles in compliance with company DOT requirements
• Ability to communicate with the supervisor about all maintenance and repairs of equipment and supplies
• Work outside in inclement weather/driving conditions
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads specific crop support commodities to and from specified destinations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
