Job Title:  Youth Development Program Coordinator

Location:  Boys & Girls Club of Door County (David G. Hatch Unit, 55 S. 3rd Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI)

Position Overview: As our Youth Development Program Coordinator, you'll be the mastermind behind creating and facilitating programs that blends education, arts, humanities, technology, and well-being into a thrilling experience that sparks imagination and builds essential life skills for youth ages 7-17 years of age afterschool and in the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver weekly lessons, activities, and games rooted in experiential and project-based learning.
• Instruct and supervise varied activities, applying effective classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with other staff, volunteers, and community organizations to provide supporting youths' success.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment, supervise members, and maintain program area cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to motivate youth, handle behavior problems, and work with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing service needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-4 year degree in human services or related field.
• Knowledge of youth development principles.
• Experience in program development, preferably in a non-profit or youth-focused setting.
• Excellent communication and group leadership skills.

Schedule: Summer & Non-School Days: Mondays - Fridays from 9a - 5:30pm and School Days: Monday - Friday from 10a - 6pm
