We're looking for a Unit Manager who is passionate about empowering young people and creating a safe, fun, and engaging space where they can grow and thrive.

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee daily Clubhouse operations and lead a team of 6-10 dedicated staff members. Your leadership will shape high-quality programs, strengthen family and community relationships, maintain a safe and welcoming facility, and support effective membership and outreach efforts.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to make a difference every day.

What You’ll Do:

Lead & Develop an Exceptional Team

  • Supervise, coach, and develop full-time and part-time program staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture where teamwork and diversity are celebrated.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance feedback, and staff development plans.
  • Ensure staff are equipped, informed, and aligned with the Club’s youth development mission.

Empower Youth to Succeed

  • Oversee engaging programs and services that support key Youth Development Outcomes.
  • Lead outreach efforts to grow membership and expand teen programming.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, healthy Club environment.
  • Build partnerships and represent the Club at community events.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve programs to meet youth needs.

Manage Resources & Operations

  • Oversee facility operations, equipment, and administrative systems.
  • Support member guidance, discipline, and parent communication.
  • Manage the food services program and kitchen staff/volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate youth data, membership tracking, and program impact reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with families, partners, and staff using Club systems.
  • Safely operate Club vehicles as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience with youth-serving organizations (Boys & Girls Club experience a plus).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage effectively with youth, including behavior and discipline needs.
  • Experience with budgeting and resource management.
  • Cultural competency and knowledge of community organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years’ experience developing and implementing youth programs.
  • Bilingual abilities.

Schedule: Full-time/M-F; 10:00 am – 6:30 pm (varied and flexible)

Pay:  $40,000-50,000, based on prior direct experience and demonstrated qualifications
