Reports To: Director of Guest Services / General Manager

Hey there! We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and hardworking leader to join our team as a Head Housekeeper for the upcoming season. If you’re passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and you love being part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you! As a Head Housekeeper, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will make a significant impact on the daily operations of the housekeeping department, helping to guide the team and ensure the best possible service for our guests. We currently have one Head Housekeeper and are adding a second to our team, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team while maintaining high cleanliness standards for our resort.

This is a seasonal position, running from May through October, with full-time hours during the peak months. You’ll be working closely with the Director of Guest Services and General Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly and our guests have the best possible experience. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the cleanliness of guest suites, resort common areas, and laundry areas, and conducting regular inspections to ensure everything meets health and safety standards. You will manage inventory by conducting stock checks and ordering supplies as needed to keep things running efficiently. In addition, you’ll coordinate the housekeeping schedule, ensuring there is proper coverage, and help resolve any guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner. You’ll also play a key role in training, mentoring, and supporting your team, ensuring they are all aligned with the resort’s standards of service.

We’re looking for someone who has at least one year of experience in housekeeping, ideally with supervisory or leadership experience. You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to train and motivate a team. A keen eye for detail is important, as is the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, bending, stretching, and kneeling throughout the day. Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills are also key to success in this role.
